Halloween 2008

We went to Trunk-or-Treat at the church last Saturday for Halloween. They had a Halloween Carnival and then we Trunk-or-Treated in the parking lot. Lots of people decorated their trunks and had candy for the kids. This year I got to dress up and I trunk or treated with my jack-o-lantern. I got lots of candy, but mom and dad say I can only eat the pretzels and the teddy grahams. It was lots of fun. They had a cake walk at the carnival. I walked the cake walk all by myself, well, mom or dad held my hand, but I walked in circles to the music and stopped when the music stopped. I won three times! Each time you won you got to pick out a cupcake. (Justin's mom here, he was adorable walking in circles. Doug and I couldn't believe that he focused and walked and stopped and stayed on his number perfectly!) Kayla dressed up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and I was the cowardly lion. Daddy was a sheriff. I had mom include pictures of our costumes and our trunk. We called the trunk The Pumpkin Patch.

On the real Halloween the missionaries came over for dinner. We had lots of trick-or-treaters! "My" dog, Ansel Adams, didn't even scare any of the to death with all his barking! :)
