10 months old - July 12, 2008

Doug here (I'm the guy in the Hawaiian shirt). Hard to believe that little guy is now 10 months old! He's able to stand up while holding on to furniture and, on occassion, he stands without support. Just the other day he stood for almost 10 seconds. I've already signed him up for driving lessons and, based on the way he looks at the servers at the restaurant, he'll be dating soon, too!
Things are about to change a bit in our world. We've outgrown our little townhouse and have rented a 4 bedroom house not far from where we are now. Of course, that means we have to pack up all the junk we currently have and move it to a new place. Then, it'll be old junk in a new setting. And I'm sure we'll take the opportunity to get some new junk, too. That's us, doing our part to bolster a lagging economy.
Actually, we're pretty excited about our new home. We'll finally be able to have Paula's piano in the house. She's looking forward to being able to play without going into the garage and moving boxes and miscellaneous stuff to get to the piano. And, truth be told, she plays wonderfully and I'm excited about being able to listen to her play.
Our little family is growing and changing daily. For us, the only thing constant is change. And we wouldn't know how to function any other way!
